Tejal Patil to be general counsel of Wipro

BENGALURU: Wipro has appointed Tejal Patil as its general counsel. She succeeds Deepak Acharya who is moving out of the firm. Patil will head the legal & compliance, global data privacy and government affairs functions. She will also be part of Wipro’s executive council.

Patil has nearly three decades of experience in legal, governance, and compliance across Asia Pacific. She worked at General Electric for over 18 years where she played key roles as the general counsel for various businesses. tnn
