Bengaluru: Couple, son con investors using Smart City projects, arrested
BENGALURU: A couple and their son were arrested for cheating people on the pretext of getting them government tenders under the Smart City projects. The con came to light when a man filed a police complaint that the couple cheated him for getting a tender for a photo shoot at Vidhana Soudha.
During the interrogation, the accused confessed that they have cheated many people by promising them tenders for Smart City
Rajesh S, 56, his wife R Satyabhama, 46, and their son R Anurag, 27, are residents of Banashankari II Stage. Deputy commissioner of police K Annamalai said they need time to confirm the number of victims and the total amount of money they managed to get from them.
