47-year-old knocked down by car in Bhopal

BHOPAL: A 47-year-old man died allegedly after a car hit him while he was crossing Kalyanpur Bypass Road in Sukhi Sewania locality on Monday night. Police said that the deceased Narayan Singh Rajput, 47, was a resident of a village in Sukhi Sewania.

Police said that on Monday around 8.30 pm, when Narayan was crossing the Kalyanpur Bypass Road, a speeding car knocked him down. As locals rushed to nab the accused car driver, he managed to escape leaving the vehicle on the spot. The injured was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead and alerted cops.
