: Two unidentified conmen exchanged a bag with a 25-year-old youth who was carrying cash worth Rs 1 lakh and handed over another one filled with pappers on the pretext of asking address in

Singh said, complainant Sushil, 25, works as a salesman, alleged that on Thursday around 12.15 pm he had gone to deposit Rs 1 lakh to a nationalised-bank located in Bairagarh. The money was given by his sister to deposit in her bank account.When he was standing in a queue at the cash counter, two unidentified accused approached him. The accused informed Sushil that they were carrying Rs 2.60 lakh in a bag that looked similar to the one the complainant was carrying and said that due to some issue, they couldn’t deposit it in that particular brach.“They requested him to tell the address of another bank in a nearby locality. When the complainant went out along with them to help, they started chatting” said SHO, adding that during the conversation, one of the accused exchanged their bag filled with paper with Sushil’s and left the spot. tnn
