, the district administration has decided to constitute a monitoring committee for all upcoming film shootings.

', directed by Meera Nair kicked up a row in the state over shooting of kissing scenes on the complex.

SDM of Mandaleshwar, Milind Dhoke told TOI on Tuesday that the matter was discussed with the district collector and it has been decided to constitute a committee at the local level to monitor any kind of film, advertisement shooting on the Maheshwar Fort complex.

‘No obscene scenes to be shot in future’
He said the committee will ensure that no obscene scenes of any kind are filmed on the entire temple premises and the surrounding religious and cultural sites.

Whenever there is a shooting in future, the members of the committee will be present so as to avoid such unpleasant situations, he added.

A Tamil film is proposed to be filmed at Maheshwar from mid-December.
