BHOPAL: Congress will observe the anniversary of 'Quit India Movement' and the 'World Tribals' Day' on Tuesday. A function will be organised at the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) headquarter on the occasion in which floral tributes will be paid to Mahatma Gandhi.

State Congress chief and former chief minister Kamal Nath will launch a 'Tiranga Samman Yatra' on the occasion from Patalpani, the birthplace of tribal warrior Tantya Bhil. He will also visit Janapav during the day to pay obeisance to Bhagwan Parshuram.

The foot march will be organised in predominantly tribal areas of the state and at divisional headquarters, senior Congress leaders of the state will join the yatra. Kamal Nath will attend the yatra at Bhopal on August 15 to mark its conclusion.
