GWALIOR/BHOPAL: The Election Commission's announcement on March 16 has sparked anticipation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Lok Sabha elections 2024 will span across 7 stages, commencing on April 19 and concluding on June 1. These elections will encompass a total of 543 constituencies throughout the nation. The third phase of the Lok Sabha elections is set to take place on May 7. Voters will cast their ballots across 94 constituencies during this stage of the electoral process.

In 1999, BJP candidate Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya secured victory with 254,486 votes out of 616,704 valid votes cast, defeating INC candidate Chandra Mohan Nagori by 83,116 votes.
