Minister felicitates athletes for winning 90 medals

Bhopal: Forest minister Kunwar Vijay Shah said that the players of the Madhya Pradesh's forest department won 90 medals in the Indian Forest Sports Competition and made the state proud.
The forest minister Shah was honoring the winning players here on Thursday.
Forest minister Shah said that a 190-member team was sent to the state for the 26th All India Forest Sports Competition held at Panchkula (Haryana).
The players created a new history by winning 34 gold, 32 silver and 24 bronze medals in various sports. Apart from this, 24 players also got the fourth position.
Additional chief secretary Forest JS Kansotiya, principal conservator of forests and chief of forest force Ramesh Kumar Gupta praised the distinguished role of retired principal chief conservator of forests Arvindra Kumar Jain in the competition and hoped that the number of medals would increase in future also.
