PM hails ‘Samrat Vikramaditya’ as beacon for youth and nation-building

Bhopal: Praised as one of India's most grandiose theatrical spectacles, play 'Samrat Vikramaditya' recently earned a rare tribute from Narendra Modi himself. Watching the play at Delhi's Lal Kila Maidan a few months ago, the Prime Minister penned a personal letter to director Sanjiv Malviya in which he wrote: "This play will serve as a benchmark to motivate the youth and go a long way in the nation-building process."Modi also applauded the way the production brings young people face-to-face with their own glorious past and celebrates India's golden era. He noted: "We are sure that King Vikramaditya's valour, wisdom, justice and love for culture will lead the nation toward a wonderful future—built on a past that was immensely inspirational."By honouring this dramatic retelling of the legendary ruler's story, the PM has placed the play in the spotlight not only as entertainment but as a cultural catalyst for youth empowerment and national identity.
