“Today is May 6. BJP will reveal the name of its CM candidate on June 6. On June 10, a BJP CM will take oath. I have come here to invite you all to take part in the oath taking ceremony of the BJP govt,” he said in a public meeting.

The PM said, "In Odisha, BJD is like setting sun. Congress is past. People are upbeat about BJP. BJP has come with hope of a new dawn.”

Modi assured the people of Odisha that the BJP’s CM will be someone who deeply understands and takes pride in Odia culture, someone who lives and breathes it. Stating that “June 4 is BJD’s expiry date” when votes will be counted, the PM said formation of a BJP govt is necessary for Odisha to develop first. “Give us five years, I will ensure Odisha becomes the Number One state in India,” he said.

Slamming the BJD govt here for doing enough, Modi said, “Delhi sends money. BJD sarakar either doesn’t implement the scheme or puts its own sticker on that.”

The PM called upon the people to cast their votes in large numbers, emphasizing that their votes were behind building Ram temple in Ayodhya, ending 500 years wait.

Modi asked people who built Ram temple and evoked an answer that he is the one. Modi said, “Your answer is wrong. Modi ne nehin, aap ki ek vote ne banaya. (Not Modi, your one vote, built the Ram temple). This is the power of your single vote and 500 years long wait ended.”

Modi said two yagnas (worships) are happening simultaneously in Odisha. One is to build a strong govt in Hindustan. The other is for making a strong BJP govt in Odisha. “I can see from your excitement, Odisha is going to have double enginer Sarkar for the first time,” he told the gathering.
