Attack on social media influencer’s house: 7th accused arrested at Chd airport

Chandigarh: Yet another person was Sunday arrested for his alleged involvement in the attack on a YouTuber's house in Jalandhar. He has been identified by police as Maninder, a resident of Alichak in Jalandhar. This has taken the total number of arrests in the case to seven.DGP (Punjab) Gaurav Yadav said, "Maninder alias Bobby was caught at Chandigarh airport. Preliminary investigations revealed that Maninder arranged for the weapons and handed them over to another accused in the case, Rohit Basra, who provided them to Amritpreet Singh and Dheeraj Kumar on March 8 at Jandu Singha. Maninder faces multiple cases under the Arms Act." SSP (Jalandhar) Gurmeet Singh said, "Following reliable inputs, Jalandhar rural police had immediately left for the UT. Maninder was arrested on his arrival."YouTuber and social media influencer Roger Sandhu's house, located in Raipur Rasoolpur village in Jalandhar, was attacked with a grenade-like object on the intervening night of March 15 and 16.The other six persons arrested earlier for the attack on his house are Amritpreet Singh alias Sukha, Hardik Kamboj, Dheeraj Kumar, Santosh Kumar alias Panday, Lachhmi and Rohit Basra. A hand grenade, two .32 bore pistols along with ammunition, and three motorcycles were also seized from them.
