Bikers snatch bag from bank employee in Raipur Rani

Panchkula: The police have registered a case after three bike-borne men snatched a bag from a bank employee near Raipur Rani. According to sources, the bank staff was carrying several sensitive documents, including the bank’s fingerprint scanner machine. A complaint was given to the police by Rakesh Kumar, 34, a resident of Yamunanagar. Kumar has been working at a bank situated in Naraingarh for the last 4.5 years. In his complaint to the police, Kumar stated that for bank’s loan related works, he had to visit Barwala and Raipur Rani area. He said that he had collected Rs 2.54 lakh loan money from different customers and deposited them in the bank’s bank account. Moreover, he had also collected Rs 4,000 from another customer and was going towards Naraingarh. “When he reached near Raipur Rani, three unknown persons on a motorcycle, with their faces covered, stopped his motorcycle. One of them put a sharp weapon on his fuel tank and the other one snatched his bag containing cash Rs 4000, mobile phone and E-KYC machine, his purse carrying 3 ATM cards, Aadhar card and his personal Rs 1,000 cash. The accused then fled from the spot,” said the police.

No major risk for banks from personal loans: ICRA

Duo snatch three purses near Bhor

Two men on a green motorcycle snatched three purses from women riding pillion on motorcycles near Nere village. The duo used a motorcycle without a number plate and targeted victims on their way to Wai. They stole purses containing cash, gold chains, and ornaments worth a total of Rs 30,200. One victim sustained injuries during the incident. The police are investigating the case.
