Caregiver steals gold bangles, held

Panchkula: A caregiver was on Tuesday arrested for allegedly stealing gold bangles of two elderly women at their houses. The accused, Sunita, had pulled out the bangles from the hands of the two women in sectors 7 and 8 after threatening them, said cops. Police said she has confessed to have carried out four more such thefts. A court remanded her to police custody.

2 held for stealing from gold shop

Two individuals have been arrested by the Kadapa Two Town police for burglarizing a gold shop and were found in possession of gold worth approximately 40 lakh. The suspects' names are Shaikh Mohammad Fairoz and Shaik Khalid Ahamed. The authorities are still searching for their accomplices, Patan Fahad Khan and Syed Noor Ahamed, who are currently on the run. The incident was reported by Shaik Gayaz, the brother of the shop owner, who stated that around 847.45 grams of gold had been stolen.
