Guv lays foundation of PGGC research centre

Chandigarh: Punjab governor and UT administrator Banwarilal Purohit on Saturday laid the foundation stone of the Advanced Academic and Research Centre at the Post Graduate Government College, Sector 11, (PGGC-11). The research center set to be established at Rs 9.93 crore on 2930 sqm, aims to cultivate critical thinking, innovation, and problem-solving within the academic community. The center's research endeavors aim to contribute to the growth of knowledge, new technologies, and solutions to address societal challenges, subsequently fostering economic development. The construction is expected to be completed within two years. During the event, UT administrator Banwarilal Purohit said that the center would serve as a beacon of inspiration for all.
