Hry school board staffer booked for leaking info of 4 dept officials

Panchkula: The education department, Haryana filed a complaint against one of their employees working with HBSE (Haryana Board of School Education) for illegally taking and misusing personal information of four senior officials working with the department. A case has been registered against the accused under IT Act.Varun Aggarwal, programmer, IT Cell, Shiksha Sadan, Sector 5 told the police that one Rajnish, who worked as coordinator, inclusive education for differently-abled (IED) with the Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE), Shiksha Sadan, Sector 5, sent a complaint to the education department via e-mail on March 10.When the education department opened the e-mail, they found personal details of four senior officials including Rajiv Vats, Harita Malik, Naresh Kumar and Sanjay Kumar, all working as principal associate consultants with the department. When a departmental inquiry was initiated, it was found that Rajnish had no access to personal information of any officer working with the department. The departmental inquiry team found that gathering personal data of any person was against their privacy.  tnn
