, former sarpanch of Bibipur village in Jind district, was celebrated here on Thursday. On the occasion, Ishrat Bashir, a Class XII student of Pulwama district of Kashmir, who has been associated with this campaign, was selected for the best 'Selfie with Daughter' award and also appointed as the brand ambassador for the campaign.For one year now, every photo of ‘Selfie with Daughter’ will have Ishrat’s signature. Ishrat’s father is a school bus driver in Pulwama. Besides Ishrat, another Pulwama resident, Mehak, who has recently completed her BTech, and Adrika of Morena in Madhya Pradesh, have been given the ‘Selfie with Daughter’ award.During the function, Palia Lohani gram panchayat in Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh was given ‘Selfie with Daughter Award’ for panchayat and Pari Saika from northeastern state of Assam was given ‘Selfie with Daughter’ award for journalism.
