Two persons die in clash over parking

Heavy police deployment has been made in the village as police has handed over the dead bodies of the deceased after the postmortem examinations. Police have booked 22 persons in two different cases of murder, rioting and assault registered against the members of both the groups.
Three persons, including Rajinder and parvinder, brothers of Dharminder Singh and one Tara Chand, brother of Jagdish have been arrested. "Both the families are immediate neighbors. After making three arrests, we are now looking at the role of others who are directly involved in the incident," said Panipat SP Rahul Sharma.
According to information, families of Dharminder and Jagdish Chand are neighbors. The two had clashed with each other six year ago over the issue of parking of Dharminder’s car near Jagdish’s house. The issue was however sorted out but the two continued to nurse the grudge.
On Monday night, Jagdish had brought his father home and was taking him back after the dinner. Meanwhile, Dharminder and his brother Rajinder came in a car which had slightly touched the two. This triggered fresh round of clash.
According to information, Jagdish and his family members which included his brothers, sons and nephews attacked Dharminder with the blunt weapons and lynched him to death.
Meanwhile, enraged over death of elder brother Rajinder went home and returned with the licenced gun and opened fire on Jagdish and his family members. Couple of fires hit Jagdish and he died on the spot. One of the shot hit Jagdish’s nephew and some members suffered pellet injuries.
Meanwhile, police was informed and the senior officers of the police department, which included the SP Rahul Sharma rushed to the spot.
