CHENNAI: The Chennai city police conducted public grievance redressal camps in 13 places in the city on Friday.
Around 1,000 petitioners attended the camps and submitted their grievances.
The police provided drinking water facilities, tea and snacks to those who attended the camps.
This is the second such event after Sandeep Rai Rathore became the city police commissioner. As many as 887 petitions were received in a mega public grievance redressal camp in the city on July 8. The city police disposed of 661 petitions and registered 14 FIRs.
