Police said Madurai Muthu, 30, of Kannagi Nagar, employed at a private firm had got engaged to a woman from Pernambut in Vellore. The wedding was scheduled on March 16. However, their marriage was called off after the woman eloped with her boyfriend.

Following this, Muthu stayed aloof and frustrated. Two days ago, he left his house and did not return. His parents lodged a missing complaint.

Nemmeli. He was identified as Muthu and his body was handed over to his family after a postmortem.

This Man had Trust and feelings for that woman which he developed all these days. He never taught that this will help happen to him and spoil his future plans. If women are like this in this world it's not worth living, so he ended his life. There should be a law on marriage like this.
