MDMK’s Durai Vaiko extends support to AAP leader's fast in Chennai

CHENNAI: MDMK principal secretary Durai Vaiko on Tuesday met AAP Tamil Nadu president S A N Vasigaran, who is on a hunger strike in Chennai, and extended support to his fast.

Vasigaran has been on an indefinite hunger strike since August 16 demanding the release of Delhi chief minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and "condemning the vengeful action of the BJP government at the Centre".

Durai Vaiko had asked Vasigaran to discontinue his fast since his health condition was deteriorating.
