Chennai: Senior district judge

R Sakthivel

has been appointed the new registrar general of the Madras high court. He replaces N Sathishkumar, who has been elevated as judge of the high court. Sakthivel is now the administrator general and official trustee (AGOT) of Tamil Nadu.
