Railway employee found dead in locked house
Chennai: The decomposed body of a railway employee was found inside his locked house in Kolathur on Thursday.
Raghupathi, 52, a resident of Bhagavathy Amman Temple Street in Kolathur, worked as a locomotive driver. While his wife Priyanka was living in Salem, his daughter Sophia was staying with their relatives. Police said Raghupathi was seen last on Monday night. When his younger brother was unable to contact him over phone, he visited his house on Thursday morning only to notice a foul smell. Police recovered the body and sent it to Govt Kilpauk Medical College Hospital for postmortem. A case has been registered.
