TSF Group & Bosch plan 50:50 JV for next-gen CV parts

Chennai: TSF Group, comprising companies such as Wheels India and Brakes India, along with Bosch, has proposed forming a 50:50 joint venture to develop and manufacture next-generation electronically controlled air system products for commercial vehicles, targeting global truck and bus markets.TSF Group, which represents the T S Santhanam branch of the erstwhile TVS Group, said the venture would focus on the engineering, manufacturing and sale of electronically controlled and software-driven modules for air compression, air processing, air suspension and air parking brake systems."Over a period of more than three decades, we have built strong relationships with both OEMs and end users through consistent product quality and service. We are pleased to collaborate with Bosch on this development initiative to advance electronic air suspension systems for global customers," said Srivats Ram.The proposed venture aims to combine Bosch's expertise in electronics, software, sensing and control systems with the TSF Group's capabilities in mechanical system design, pneumatic management architecture, and manufacturing.
