Worker injured at Rajini film launch prep

Chennai: A guest worker fell from a 15-foot high hoarding being erected for the audio launch of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Jailer’.
The injured man was rescued and admitted to the GH. According to the doctors, the migrant worker is safe and healthy said the police.
The injured guest worker was identified as Sankar Mala, 24, of Assam. After he came in contact with the live cable, he fell from the hoarding.
In this impact, he sustained a severe injury and was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital.
While the movie is set to be released on screens on August 10, the worker was assigned in installing the decorative lamps for the audio launch programme. The function is to be held at Nehru Stadium on Friday.
