City gears up for laughathon

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Humour Society, in association with the Times of India and Le Meridien, is organizing its annual comedy fest - Laughathon – this weekend in the city.While the launch event was scheduled at Brookefields Mall on December 16, Laughathon 2023, titled Coimbatore Comedy Festival, would be held in Hotel Le Meridien on Avinashi Road on December 17. This is the 14th season since it was launched more than a decade ago.Popular comedian Bosskey would perform at the launch event in Brookefields Mall. The next day would have an array of leading standup comedians perform at LE Meridien. The list includes Anirban Dasgupta, Nivedita Prakasham, Naveen Richards, Shridhar Venkatraman, Sorabh Pant and G Lakshmipathi.TNN
