Body of Andhra student at NIT Srinagar recovered from river after 4-day search
Dehradun: The body of a 21-year-old student of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar, who had drowned in Alaknanda river, was recovered on Thursday after a four-day search by State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), officials said.
“Despite difficult river conditions, teams carried out search operations over several days. The body has been handed over to police for further procedures,” an SDRF official said.
