Badrinath portals reopen
The sacred portals of Badrinath Dham reopened on Sunday morning after remaining closed for six months. Thousands of devotees gathered to witness the auspicious moment.

Dharmadhikari Radha Krishna Thapliyal called the occasion deeply spiritual, noting that devotees wait months for this moment. Prayers were offered for the well-being of all.
CM offers prayers
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the rituals, praying for the safety and well-being of pilgrims and the state. He also performed special ‘poojan’ on behalf of the nation.

CM Dhami welcomed pilgrims to the holy land and wished them a smooth and safe yatra. He personally reviewed the arrangements at the shrine.

The CM mentioned that development work is progressing at the temple under PM Modi’s leadership. Badrinath is part of a larger spiritual infrastructure plan.

Char Dham Yatra begins
The 2025 Char Dham Yatra began on April 30 with Gangotri and Yamunotri, followed by Kedarnath on May 2. Badrinath’s reopening marks the final leg.
