In Uttarakhand, merchant navy officer misbehaves with women police unit, arrested

ALMORA: A merchant navy officer was arrested and booked for misbehaving with police personnel who had come to his house to investigate, after his wife had filed a case of assault and harassment against him in the women's police station.

According to information, Mohit Joshi (38) , a resident of Almora's Kachari Bazaar, is a merchant navy officer. A few days ago, Mohit's wife had filed a case of assault and harassment against him in the women's police station.

To investigate the matter, SO Barkha Kanyal of Mahila Thana went to Mohit's house on Monday evening with the police team for investigation. It is alleged that Mohit misbehaved with the SO and other police personnel.
