Librarians’ day celebrated at Indian Military Academy

Dehradun: The Central Government Library Association (CGLA) organised librarians’ day on the occasion of Padmashri Dr SR Ranganathan’s 130th birth anniversary at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Friday. The event was inaugurated by Brig Harish Garg, head of academic department, IMA. Ramesh Goyal, president of CGLA, spoke about the activities of the association and steps being taken for the betterment of library professionals. He also highlighted the benefits of using technology in managing library resources and improving library services. Dr AK Suman also presented a lecture on “emerging trends after Covid-19 pandemic for digital transformations of libraries”. TNN
