Minister Chandan Ram Das falls ill in assembly, rushed to hospital

Dehradun: Social Welfare Minister Chandan Ram Das fell ill in the assembly during the second day of the ongoing budget session. He was rushed to a dispensary in the assembly building and thereafter taken to a private hospital on Mussoorie road.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Health minister Dhan Singh Rawat and assembly speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan rushed to the hospital to inquire about the minister's health. Earlier in the day, Chandan Ram Das replied to the questions of MLAs during the Question Hour and he felt uneasy in the afternoon hours.
