Covid-19: 13 international flyers taken to hospitals from Delhi airport after screening

NEW DELHI: On a day pandemic preparedness drills were being conducted, 13 travellers suspected to have been infected with coronavirus were brought from IGI Airport to Safdarjung Hospital.


They were isolated following thermal screening and their samples have been sent for testing. Sources said the flyers are all from different countries.

A hospital official said they are asymptomatic for Covid-19.

On Monday, 11 travellers landing at IGI had tested positive for Covid-19; their genome sequencing reports are awaited.
