16 foreign nationals detained

New Delhi: Sixteen foreign nationals were detained and sent to a deportation centre after they were found to be living illegally in different areas of Dwarka in Jan.The people were identified as: Mohammad Sharif (54), Najrul Sheikh (50), his wife Parveen (25), and their two children, all residents of Bangladesh; Ikechukwu Paul, Ekene Boniface (41), Ebuka Desmond Akuchukwu (32), Omodu (36), Izuka Emmanuel Nwakonobi (32), Ekwebili Victor (39), Jonathan Egbunike Okoye (34), and Stanley Chialuka Mbamara (22), all residents of Nigeria. DCP (Dwarka) Ankit Singh formed special teams to apprehend foreign nationals who overstayed in India without a valid visa and were residing or roaming in Dwarka district. tnn
