Delhi will go to polls on February 5, and the results will be declared on February 8, as announced by Rajiv Kumar, the chief election commissioner.
According to the election commission's schedule, candidates must submit their nominations by January 17, followed by scrutiny on January 18.
The assembly elections in Delhi will be conducted in one phase. The capital is set for a triangular electoral battle involving the incumbent Aam Aadmi Party, the BJP, and the Congress.
