NEW DELHI: A city doctor, Dr. Javed Akhtar was brutally murdered inside his chamber at Nima Hospital in Jaitpur, falling under the jurisdiction of the Kalindi Kunj police station.

At 1:45 am, law enforcement received a distress call reporting the heinous crime. Upon reaching the scene, they discovered Akhtar's lifeless body slumped in his chair, a crimson pool of blood emanating from his head.

Investigations unveiled that two adolescent boys, estimated to be between 16-17 years of age, had visited the hospital around 1 am, purportedly seeking medical attention for an injured toe.

They had previously conducted reconnaissance at the hospital the previous night, receiving treatment and a prescription from Dr. Akhtar.

CCTV footage captures the boys calmly returning to the hospital, purposefully striding towards Akhtar's cabin and ruthlessly executing the fatal shot.

Law enforcement officials are analyzing the footage to identify the cold-blooded assassins.

The medical fraternity demanding justice for Akhtar and the implementation of stringent security measures to safeguard healthcare professionals.

Delhi Police have initiated a massive manhunt to apprehend the teenage perpetrators.

"We will leave no stone unturned to bring she culprits to justice," assured police commissioner Sanjay Arora.
