NEW DELHI: Parts of Delhi-NCR experienced light rainfall on Wednesday amid sultry weather conditions. A cloudy sky was observed, and moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms or lightning is anticipated during the day.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted continued rain for the capital city throughout the day. The minimum temperature recorded was 29 degrees Celsius, which is slightly above normal.
"The sky will remain cloudy through the day and the maximum temperature is likely to settle around 35 degrees Celsius," according to the IMD. The humidity level stood at 75 percent as of 8:30 am.
In its 3 pm notification, the weather department indicated that Delhi and the NCR are expected to experience moderate to heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, wind speeds of 40 to 60 km/h, and lightning.
