NEW DELHI: Satish Kumari, a traffic head constable with the Delhi Police, heroically saved the life of a young motorcyclist following a road accident in the Palam Vihar area.
According to the police, Satish Kumari gave the injured biker, identified as 35-year-old Amit Dogra, a second chance at life by performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the spot.
The incident occurred at around 7.45am on Sunday when Satish Kumari, who was on duty near Dwarka Traffic Circle, came across Amit lying unconscious on the road after a collision between two motorbikes.
Acting swiftly, she rushed to his aid with the help of nearby passersby.
After turning Amit over, she administered CPR, successfully reviving him before he was transported to a nearby hospital in a PCR van, Delhi Police reported.
