Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Kejriwal alleged that the BJP has been manipulating voter lists in his New Delhi assembly constituency since December 15 to sway the upcoming elections.

“In these 15 days, BJP has applied to remove 5,000 names and add 7,500 new ones. Why hold elections if 12% of the voters in the constituency are being manipulated? This is nothing but a 'game' in the name of elections,” Kejriwal said.

"BJP wants to win the election anyhow, even by dishonesty... But, the people of Delhi will not let this happen. The said tactics they used in Haryana and Mahrashtra assembly elections - we will not let them win here by using that tactic," Kejriwal added further.

"BJP has already lost the elections. They don't have a chief ministerial face or even proper candidates. They only aim to win through manipulation, but we won't let them succeed," Kejriwal said.

He further claimed that the BJP submitted 11,000 applications to delete voters in a single constituency. However, he said the chief election commissioner's intervention prevented the move.

"We exposed this, and fortunately, it was stopped," Kejriwal added.

Kejriwal alleged that a large-scale operation targeting voter lists began on December 15, with 5,000 voter deletion requests and 7,500 addition applications filed in his New Delhi assembly constituency.

He claimed this could impact 12% of the constituency’s voters.

According to AAP supremo, the total number of voters stands at 106,873, based on the voter list published on October 29 after a summary revision conducted between August 20 and October 20.

“Operation Lotus has now reached my constituency. They are trying to manipulate electoral rolls to influence the election results,” he alleged.

Calling the move a threat to democracy, Kejriwal urged the election commission to maintain strict vigilance to prevent such actions.
