Each college will prepare a merit list based on the online applications, and only those students who report in person for counselling and verification of certificates will be considered for admissions.
CS Dubey, chairman sports department, DU said, “We have more transparency this year. Students can attach their certificates to the form, which will automatically verify the documents and calculate the eligibility.”

The final list of selected applicants will be uploaded on the DU website as well as on college’s notice boards for three days. The university will also make a video of each trial performance to ensure transparency.
He added that the students can reach out to a grievance committee with their issues, which will be addressed by colleges before the beginning of the admission process.
Applicants appearing for trial are required to bring a printed copy of their online undergraduate admission form and report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time in proper sporting gear.
The admission criteria will be divided into eight categories and students will be marked out of 40. Those belonging to A1 category — represented the country in Olympics, world championship, World Cup, Commonwealth Games, and Asian Games, etc— will get direct admission.
The university will only accept the highest sports certificate; hence, students should produce self-attested copies of that at the time of admissions.
