GHAZIABAD: The
district magistrate
’s office has received 23 complaints related to corruption in government departments in the past three weeks.
In December last year,
Ghaziabad district magistrate
Ajay Shankar Pandey had installed a ‘
black box
’ outside his office where people could drop graft complaints with proof. He had put deputy collector Prashant Tiwari in charge of the box, which was opened on Wednesday.
There are five complaints against the police department, four against GMC, two against the revenue department and one each against GDA, the civil court, Awas Vikas Parishad and forest department. The DM has sought details of officials against whom allegations have been levelled.
