5 injured in car accident at Dabolim

Vasco: Five occupants, including women, sustained injuries after the car in which they were travelling met with a self-accident near Vales junction at Alto-Dabolim early Saturday morning.

Vasco police said that the accident occurred around 5am when the car was proceeding from Verna towards Dabolim airport.

When they reached the junction, the car brushed against the road divider and then rammed into a roundabout. The vehicle then turned turtle, leaving all five occupants injured. “Preliminary investigation has revealed that the driver lost control over the vehicle which led to the accident,” said head constable Ashish Naik.
