Flyer carrying live round of ammo in bag held at Dabolim

Vasco: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel posted at Dabolim airport found one live round of ammunition in the handbag of a flyer from Bihar.

The accused, Shekh Gulab Ajabul, 20, was intercepted during the routine security check-up on June 12 afternoon at the domestic security hold area of XBIS machine no 1.

The security personnel found one live 7.6mm round/ammunition in his handbag.

The CISF official, Jay Parakash Ram, filed a complaint with the Dabolim airport police and then handed over the custody of Ajabul to the police.

The case is being investigated under the supervision of PI Arun Bakre.
