‘Govt to take decision on Sunburn festival’

Panaji: Following strong opposition to host the Sunburn festival in South Goa, chief minister Pramod Sawant said that the organiser has applied for permission.

He said that govt will take a decision, but “babdoo - poor fellow (referring to the Sunburn festival organiser) always get permission at the last minute.”

“Sunburn is a private festival, and I don’t understand why people link and blame such private festivals which come to Goa. This time they have declared to host the festival in South Goa. They have sought permission where they want to organise. Govt will take a decision,” Sawant said.

Meanwhile, Sunburn organizers have already started registrations after announcing the festival.
