Sattari voted strategically to elect panchayat heads: Goa minister Vishwajit Rane

VALPOI: Valpoi MLA and health minister Vishwajit Rane on Monday said that the villagers have elected their representatives strategically. “All my candidates have been elected, except for the two that we purposely kept out of the panel. All the panchayats are under our control,” he said.

Since the people have voted for the right persons, they will benefit he said, adding, “I assure you that government schemes will reach villagers.”

Vishwajit, along with Poriem MLA Deviya Rane, felicitated the elected sarpanchs and deputy sarpanchs.

Vishwajit later gave them pointers on how to carry out their work.
