Yamunanagar
district who died incidentally while on his duty, was cremated at his ancestral village with paramilitary honours on Thursday.
Jaimal died with his own bullet on March 31, 2021 while on duty in
Kokrajhar
area of
Assam and his body was brought to Kalyanpur village on Thursday evening.
Thousands of villagers gathered at the cremation site with tearful eyes and the deceased soldier was buried at the native village cemetery.
A contingent of soldiers led by inspector Rundal Mandal of the 129th Battalion of CRPF arrived at Dosarka Chowk in Yamunanagar along with the remains Jaimal Khan in an official vehicle.

Ranjit Singh told, “As per the information that we received from the control room of constable Jaimal Khan’s battalion, he died incidentally while he was on duty from a bullet of his own weapon. His remains were brought to Kalyanpur village, where last rites have been conducted as per the due protocol.”
Hundreds of bike riders present there carried the tricolor in their hands and shouted the patriotic slogans.
After this, the body of Jaimal was taken to Kalyanpur village of sub-division Bilaspur, and thousands of villagers were already present there.
The remains of soldier were taken to his house and then to the village cemetry.
Jaimal’s father Munshi and mother Asri have already died and he is survived by his wife Rishan and a son Akram (13).
On this occasion, Bilaspur sub-division magistrate (SDM) Jaspal Singh Gill, DSP Subhash Chand, Sadhaura naib tehsildar Bharat Bhushan and former MLA Balwant Singh paid tribute to him.
After this, CRPF jawans held a wreath laying ceremony and the remains of Jaimal were buried.
Former vice-president of zila parishad Anil Sandhu, members Sandeep Gurjar,
Ayub Khan, advocate Gulzar Khan, former sarpanch Validin, Jan Mohammad and Shakeel Jamnawala were also present on the occasion.
