DTCP caps registration charge at Rs 15,000
GURUGRAM: Now developers cannot demand more than Rs 15,000 from a buyer for registry of a house or a plot.

I have got registered HUDA plot without even a single rupee about 7~ 8 years ago in Gurgaon. Govt charges are stamp duty, registration fee, computer fee, Red cross fee . Someone may ask for few hundred rupees more then the normal fees because they know that the cost of property is not undervalued for stamp duty.If you know the process flow and fees then you can get registered without even a single rupee extra.Then why this extra money of Rs 15000 ?Normally does any seller charges any money for getting his/her property registerd in the name of buyer ?So all should fight against any kind of corruotion whether it is by builders or Govt officials.Read allPost comment
