During his college days, he came close to gangster Lawrence

Few years ago, a senior SOPU leader said though Nehra was an important face of their party and was given important duties during student elections, since he got involved in criminal activities, their association had ended. A resident of Police Lines, Sector 26, Chandigarh, he is wanted by police of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. “He loves to brag about his crimes. After committing a crime, he used to upload pictures, statuses and even videos of themselves on Facebook,” said a senior police officer. He was also active on Instagram where he has 964 followers. His Instagram status read — “Agar raftaar tez na ho, to dushman ki chlai hui goli ka kaam asaan ho jata hai (If you are not fast, the job of your enemy’s bullet becomes easy)”. In one of his Facebook posts, he claimed to be a “spiritual gangster”.
