Gyandeep Senior Secondary School, Sheetla Colony in Sector 5, and Yaduvanshi Shiksha Niketan, Near Raheja Navodaya Society in Sector 92 saw the maximum candidates (392) in the morning shift.

Among the candidates the feeling was "a moderate exam" and they expect the cutoff marks to rise this year. The UPSC CSE Paper-I had 100 questions carrying a total of 200 marks.

An aspirant appearing for the exam for the third time, told TOI, "There was a slight change in the pattern as the assertion and reasoning questions were not conventional. The multiple choice questions were also a little different as the commission asked how many choices were correct rather than asking which choice was correct."

A teacher from one of the UPSC preparation centres in Gurgaon, said, "The paper was relatively easy. Though there were some surprises, nothing came as a shock. Questions from G20, MSMEs, and Ukraine were expected and were asked."

"Most of the questions were asked from History, Geography, and Economics. Polity had the lowest count," remarked another candidate.

Meanwhile, the commission released the results of UPSC 2022 earlier this week and more than 12 aspirants from Haryana made it to the top 100 merit list of the country.
