New waste park coming up in Gurgaon

Gurgaon is getting a waste-themed attraction in the form of 30 sculptures made from scrap at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Park in Sector 14

2/6

Work started in August by MCG

The project was greenlit by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) in August last year and is on the verge of completion now

3/6

Sculptures made of scrap and waste

The 30 sculptures have all been made using automobile parts, old pipes and grilles and other scrap and waste material

4/6

Vehicle-themed attractions

The attraction has a 'vehicle' theme with the sculptures ranging from a sail ship and steam engine to helicopter, rocket ship and even a UFO

5/6

Includes vehicles from Batman's garage

Among the more flamboyant designs at the park are movie-themed sculptures, including Batman's Batmobile and Batcycle

6/6

Opening for public later this year

Given the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, it may take some time before the attraction is open for the public though
