Schools, colleges in Manipur to remain shut on Sept 16

Imphal: Manipur govt has notified closure of all schools in the state on Tuesday in view of the prevailing weather conditions in the state.

“All schools in the state, including schools under the state govt and central govt, private schools, govt aided schools and govt un-aided schools shall remain closed on Tuesday, the 16th Sept, 2025,” an order issued on Monday by education (s) director Ng Bhogendra Meitei said. Meanwhile, L Radhakanta, the director of university and higher education, in a separate notification, announced that all colleges and universities in the state shall remain closed on Tuesday.
