Man kills wife, daughter & woman in Arunachal hosp

Itanagar: A 45-year-old man on Thursday killed his wife, 2-year-old daughter and another woman, using a dao (machete), at a district hospital in Seppa, East Kameng. He also injured several others, reports Joken Ete.The accused, Nikam Sangbia, a resident of Bameng, began randomly assaulting people at the gynae ward of the hospital, prompting immediate police intervention, East Kameng superintendent of police Kamdam Sikom said. He furher said that Nikam killed his wife Tade Sangbia and his daughter Mekhya, while Pakka Welly Sonam succumbed to her injuries. Sikom said the attacker was finally subdued and taken into custody by the police. Seppa police station officer-in-charge inspector M Geyi too sustained injuries in the attack. The SP added that the injured victims have been referred to Itanagar for advanced medical treatment.
